Episode Sixty: Let the Deprogramming Begin!

I come back to earth after my SAWP experience, find a favorite writer, learn not to fear Lucie's hair and find that I have to read a chapter to save you from mispronunciations that were simply too too odious.
Book The Third, Chapters three through five (and two of 'em from Andy)!

I just stumbled on to your site. I'm overjoyed! I'm a former high school and middle school English teacher who loves to knit, to spin, to teach, and to read. I'm also a new to homeschooling (loving it so far). When I heard you mention your "OED lust" and 19th century Brit Lit tendencies, I knew I'd found a new favorite 'cast. I'm going to start with "Tale" and join you when I can.

I am from Iowa and went to college in South Dakota for three years before coming to Tennessee to finish my English degree, so your South Dakota history got my attention as well. Small world on the 'Net.

Thanks for sharing your talents with us.

  2. I am thoroughly enjoying your podcast. My choice for the next book would be something lighter like another Austen or even, dare I say it, Louisa May Alcott.

Also, I noticed the last couple of podcasts I don't seem to have any sound coming into the right side of earphones. There is no problem with the readers, just your portions. I wanted to let you know in case you didn't already.

  3. Hey Claire,
    Thanks for the GREAT IDEA!
Are you on Ravelry yet? We just started a group...

And thanks for the headsup on the sound. I thought it was just me!
    LOL

Is it wrong that I kind of like Madame DeFarge? Yes, I know she's sort of pure evil, but she has her reasons. In a way I wish that her powers were harnessed for good.
