Episode One-hundred sixteen: No, Really! 116! AND One-hundred seventeen: A Little End

I'm back-to-backing the last chapters so you can finish happy over Thanksgiving.
YAY!

I'll be back in December with Jeckyl and Hyde...which seems odd for the Xmas Spirit thing, but...We'll have The Scarlet Letter in the new year...which actually seems oddly appropriate.

These episodes contain the following:
  • episode 116—chapters 44–46
  • episode 117—chapter 47, the final chapter, "Harvest Time"
OH! And check out Pintoid Cameras! And what they do!

UPDATE 11/28/09: SO SORRY! You can tell I've been in a Word-Count-Amongst-The-Visiting-Relatives hole for the last few days. I've fixed the problem (I think). Email the MamaOKnits address if this STILL isn't working. Many apologies and hope you had a happy Turkey Day!

  1. Sadness! Two new episodes, and I'm not able to download them from iTunes or listen to them from the blog :(

*wanders off to listen to older Craftlit episodes*

I can't download them from iTunes, either. There seems to be something wrong.

  5. Yep...the last two episodes are "undownloadable" from iTunes. It says, "http://media.libsyn.com/media/craftlit/Craftlit_116_111108.mp3" could not be found on the server.
    Extreme sadness!

Me too! I'm kind of glad I'm not the only one, though. I was worried my computer had upped and refused me my Craftlit!

  11. Re Mr. Bhaer kneeling: It wasn't infirmity that kept him from kneeling.

"It was certainly proposing under difficulties, for even if
he had desired to do so, Mr. Bhaer could not go down upon his
knees, on account of the mud."

    It was raining. :)

  12. NO WAY! Did I say he was infirm? I thought I was talking about how it was Alcott's way of keeping them on even footing...at the same level...equals in their relationship.
DARNIT--I'm gonna have to go listen again...
But yes you're right, in the short run, it was the mud.
    ; )

  14. Hi Heather! I eagerly started to listen to episode 116 and heard you mention that we could sign up for chapters on Ravelry now for the Scarlet Letter. I'm pathetically new to Ravelry and can't find where on the Craftlit Group page we are meant to sign up. Please advise when you have a moment. I'm heading off to London for Christmas in a couple weeks and would like to try to record a chapter before I go. What a great opportunity you're providing us by the way!
