Mister Wickham!

As always, Pride and Prejudice is narrated by Annie Coleman. Intro music provided by GarageBand.com which connected me with Joshua Christian’s “Chasing Hiro.”

A Note: Files for previous episodes can be gotten at LibSyn or at iTunes. Oh, and hey...if you have a second, wouldja vote for CraftLit at Podcast Alley. I'm in the third to the last place on the rankings.
Not that I'm competitive...

If the feed isn't working at iTunes (and it wasn't as I boarded the flight for the DR), know that I'll fix it as soon as I can get another reliable Internet connection. My sister knows places in the DR I where I can go wireless...

DR update!
Well, I have Internet access but not through my computer. And sadly, while the DR has many wonderful things, it does not have computers that allow an FTP transfer, or a HiSpeed connection for my laptop. Until Monday night, you'll have to go to: http://www.gcast.com/u/MamaOKnits/itpc_rss_mac_com_hordover_iWeb_Site_Podcast_rss_xml

Many apologies for this. LibSyn, which hosts the feed, maxed out for the month and didn't tell me. So when I uploaded, and it looked as though all was well with the world and signed off...LibSyn deleted my file.
And didn't email.
Tee'd? Me? Only a little...but I'm collecting audio here in the DR.

You'll hear all about it...next week.

  1. Heather--Thanks so much for this podcast. You are fantastic! I vote for Tristan and Isolde, but I'm happy to listen to all of them.

  2. having trouble downloading this from itunes. it says that the file may be corrupted or in a format that itunes can't read. any suggestions?

  3. Thanks VVB for the comment! I'm glad that the Delta Terminal at JFK has wireless...I just checked on a fluke and LOOK! I needed to fix the feed.
Should be working now. I'll try to check again from the DR.

By the way, for any NYC listeners. DO NOT try to use long term parking, then walk to the air train, then walk to the Delta International terminal. You are actually forced to WALK WRONG WAY ON A VERY NARROW DARK RAMP. Ah, NYC, International Capital of the World...
    don't get me started...

  4. Hi! I'm currently going through back episodes after finding your podcast a couple of months ago. As a teacher, I'm just now finding the time to actually listen!

In this podcast, you made a statement about being a teacher that almost made me fall out of my chair. Parents and students tend to think you are an idiot and that you have nothing better to do with your time than harass small children. Do they know how much education a teacher has to have to even get into the classroom?!?!

I could continue to rant, but I think I'm preaching to the choir. :o) Thank you for making my day.

and then you said...
