Episode Seven: Of Storage Space and Scholarships

Well, Tristan and Isolde seem to be winning out as our next book. Please keep emailing me and letting me know your thoughts.

Today a little personal update from me, then on to the next two chapters of P&P!

And a little shout-out ot Anne Hanson, of whom I am tangentially accquainted.

As always, Pride and Prejudice is narrated by Annie Coleman. Intro music provided by which connected me with Joshua Christian’s “Chasing Hiro.”

  1. I also vote for Tristan and Isolde. I just found your podcast and have loved listening to it by the pool. Thanks for the great work!

  2. Other suggestions for future books:
How Green Was My Valley, Romeo and Juliet, The Age of Innocence (Brenda Dayne's version), Tess of the D'Urbervilles, Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, and some of the dark romantics - The Scarlet Letter, Moby Dick, Bartleby the Scrivener, and then maybe some of the more modern ones - Brave New World, The Fountainhead, Atlas Shrugged.

(BTW - had no luck finding your direct email address on your Blog)

and then you said...
