Wow, someone besides me who's heard of _The Last of the Really Great Whangdoodles_! It was my favorite book for a really long time and I still push it on people who I think will appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteIt's a useful reality check to remember that sometimes the "grownup" viewpoint isn't really better (or more entertaining!) than the "childish one." Thanks for mentioning it -- that really made my day.
